The District of Houston is seeking the services of a grant writer in order to maximize the number of grants that the District of Houston can apply for and receive in 2017, and to maximize the number of grant dollars available to community and sport organizations.
The grant writer will work with the District of Houston Staff and the Economic Development Officer to investigate and assess available grants, develop applications for selected grants and administer and develop final reports on successful grant applications.
The District of Houston has been very successful in achieving grants, but requires additional capacity to explore and submit applications for a growing number of grant opportunities for local government and for non-profits within the community.
Interested persons are encouraged to review the Terms of Reference and submit a proposal by no later than 5:00pm on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Any proposals received after the closing time will not be accepted. Submissions should be addressed to:
The District of Houston reserves the right to accept any qualification submission received, to reject any or all qualification submissions, in whole or in part, to waive irregularities or formalities as deemed appropriate, and to request clarification of any qualification submission. All submissions must be submitted in a sealed envelope quoting the competition number and listing the company name and relevant contact information. The District of Houston will not accept any proposals, tenders or quotations submitted by fax or email.
