Municipal Service Worker I (Public Works)
Reporting to the Director of Operations or their designate, this position provides a variety of services, both as an equipment operator and on occasion as a labourer, in keeping with the ongoing operation and maintenance of the District’s parks and recreation facilities, including the arena, community hall, parks, and outdoor recreation areas. This is manual work which requires physical effort and agility in the performance of semi-skilled and unskilled work.
This is a Temporary Full-Time position for a period of up to six months ranging from April 15 - October 15, 2026.

Casual Lifeguards
The Houston Leisure Facility has a standing opening for Casual Lifeguards - inquire today about position availability!
In order to qualify, you must have certification from the National Lifesaving Society, a CPR "C" Certificate, and Standard First Aid Level 1 training. Previous experience as a Lifeguard and Swim Instructor certification are preferable, but not necessary for the position.
