Manufactured Home Ownership

In British Columbia, manufactured homeownership is regulated by the Manufactured Home Act and the Manufactured Home Regulation. The act requires mobile home registration in a central register that controls the movement of mobile homes within British Columbia. A Moving Permit issued by the District of Houston is required to move a manufactured home onto a pre-existing Manufactured Home Pad into a Manufactured Home Park. Moving Permit applications can be completed and submitted by email to the District at doh@houston.ca. A $100 permit fee applies after issuance of a Moving Permit.
