The District of Houston provides exceptional recreation facilities for residents and visitors to play and have fun in. Whether you enjoy hockey, soccer, swimming, or just having fun, the District's facilities are available to you.

Claude Parish Memorial Arena

Built in the 1970's, the Claude Parish Memorial Arena provides residents with a place to skate and play hockey. Hockey, figure skating, ringette, and public skating are all offered at the facility during the fall in winter. During the spring and summer, the space is available for tradeshows, ball hockey, and other dry floor events.

Houston Leisure Facility

Completed in 2006, the Houston Leisure Facility provides a state of the art aquatics centre, complete with a sauna, hot tub, leisure pool, and swimming pool. The Leisure Facility also sports a fitness gym, providing a venue for those seeking a more intensive leisure activity.

Community Hall

The Community Hall provides a venue for major community events, including weddings, community meetings, major receptions, and other events. Up to three event spaces are available for use.
