The District of Houston is seeking the services of a qualified telecommunications and software technology firm to provide a fleet management software platform, associated fleet mounted hardware, and ongoing mobile data and software support service. The services are expected to be provided to the District for a three-year period beginning September 1, 2021 and expiring on August 31, 2024, with an option to renew for an additional three-year term. The desired platform should be capable of providing fleet management capabilities to a fleet of approximately 40 vehicles varying from self-propelled grounds maintenance vehicles to heavy-duty vehicles and equipment within a municipal public works department. Qualified proponents interested in responding to the RFP are required to do so in writing via email by July 5, 2021, at 4:00 P.M. local time. Submissions must be delivered by email to Gerald Pinchbeck, Chief Administrative Officer, at cao@houston.ca before the closing time. The submissions must include
RFP 1220-2021-07 Fleet Management & GIS System and the company name in the email subject line. Any submissions sent in that do not meet the mandatory criteria will be automatically disqualified.
